Students from The Barlow High School have right of admission to either Loreto and Xaverian Sixth Form Colleges after completing GCSE, both of which are rated as outstanding.

With strong traditions of academic success, both Loreto and Xaverian students achieve high A-level grades, enabling entry to Oxbridge and Russel Group universities. Both Colleges have high aspirations and expectations for their students whether studying for A-level or for qualifications leading to employment. Both Colleges have tutor systems providing networks of advice and guidance at every level with teaching and pastoral tutors and programmes to guide and support students every step of the way.

Sixth Form College studies are not limited to just academic subjects. As Catholic Colleges, students can explore faith and spirituality, volunteer for a variety of charitable activities and partake in a number of extra-curricular activities.

Both Loreto and Xaverian Sixth Form Colleges have their own distinctive traditions and ethos. Research both and visit both before deciding which College best suits your child's personal style and needs.
