St Vincent de Paul Society (SVP)
The St Vincent de Paul (or SVP) Society is one of the world's largest charities. Its members provide practical and moral support to people in need. Our aim is to provide practical assistance to those who need it; to visit the sick, the lonely, the addicted, the imprisoned and those suffering from disabilities form a large proportion of the Society’s work.
SVP is an international Catholic lay society which seeks and finds those in need, regardless of race or religion. This year the SVP at St Catherine's have made 380 visits and only have 5 members.
