St Catherine's is an established and thriving Catholic parish on School Lane in Didsbury, part of the Diocese of Salford www.salforddiocese.net.
The Church shares a space with a primary school
(St Catherine's) and a Community Centre. Together they sustain a diverse community which includes people of all ages and backgrounds.
The St Catherine's community prides itself in its inclusivity and welcome to new people. Our priest is Father John Hitchen and the parish sits within the diocese of Salford. It also proudly supports The Barlow RC High School.
Visitors are welcome at all our services and Parish Groups are always seeking new members and volunteers. Please come along and join us. Also please get in touch with your comments, feedback and suggestions about this website using the form below.

Happily we can announce that our Syrian refugee family will arrive soon. We have been very busy preparing the house for their arrival. It has been a great team effort and the whole process since June 2017 to this point, is a cause for celebration. Without your ongoing support, be it items donated for the house, or help with decorating, or financial donations, including the recent fashion show, which has virtually paid for carpeting the house, it would not have happened.
Huge thanks for your generosity and support. We pray for the safe arrival of the family to the UK and for a successful resettlement over the next two years.
